Correct measuring posture

a)Please sit in a room where the temperature is appropriate for measurement. Your body should be relaxedand posture should be natural. You should sit on a chair, set both of your feet on the ground. and keepyour body sitting upright with your back straight.

b) Please level the blood pressure monitor with your heart position as shown in the following figure. Relaxyour mind and keep a relaxed and natural posture for measurement, Incorrect posture will affect measuredblood pressure value.

The blood pressure value will change depending on posture, time and other variousfactors; it is suggested to measure blood pressure with the same posture at the same time of every day.

Precautions for measurement a)Strenuous exercise, smoking or drinking stimulants/ depressants (for example, coffee or alcohol) isnot allowed 30 minutes before measuring blood pressure. b)Please rest in a comfortable and stable environment for at least five minutes before measuring.

c)Usually sitting posture is adopted for measurement. d)One hand should be fixed for measurement. If it is the first time measuring your blood pressure, twohands should be fixed for measurement.

e)Blood pressure should be measured at least twice each time at an interval of not less than five minutes; longer time interval might be needed for different personal health statuses.

f) Arrhythmia and arteriosclerosis patients should be measured by medical staff for professionaldiagnosis.

6.Measur Measurement of blood pressure

1. Put the blood pressure monitor on the wrist according to the correct usage, Turn the power switch to the “ON” direction, and the LED lights up and goes out. Then press the touch button on the lens, and the sphygmomanometer will start to measure automatically. Do not move or speak during the measurement.

(If mmg appears on the screen, the measurement unit is mmHg,or else KPa.)
